In addition to the daily IOST you receive by default for voting, we will take 25% of the IOST rewarded to BlockArcade to buy and issue TIX to users. This is our way to say thanks to our early voters! Our goal is to become a servi-node that produces blocks on the IOST blockchain, and we need your help to do it!

So how do I get the airdrop?

All you have to do is vote for BlockArcade's IOST node and you are eligible for the airdrop! Lets break this down if you're new to IOST:

You need an IOST account. To get an IOST account on desktop I'd recommend the Inside IOST account creator. On mobile you can download TokenPocket and use the create by friend option. Drop a screenshot of the QR code in our Telegram room and we'll activate the account for your!
You need IOST! Voting for nodes on IOST takes IOST, but don't worry you get it back after 7 days when you unvote! 1 IOST = 1 vote. You can get IOST at one of the exchanges on this list.
Vote for BlockArcade! On desktop voting is possible using IOSTABC. Just go to our node's page and click the yellow vote button. On mobile you can vote for BlockArcade using TokenPocket. Just search for "blockarcade" using their built-in voting interface.

How much TIX will I get?

This is a little bit complicated but I'll explain it the best I can. The amount you receive is 25% of the voting rewards blockarcade got for the previous day. Currently blockarcade gets ~450 IOST each day. 50% of this is split between voters and the other 50% goes to the blockarcade wallet. We take 25% of the IOST sent to blockarcade and use it to buy TIX, then we do the following calculation:

TIXReward = ( IOSTRewards * 0.25) / ( TotalVotesForNode / UserVotedAmount ) * TIXExchangeRate

Let's try an example for a user who voted 150k IOST:

28.125 = (225 * 0.25) / ( 3,000,000 / 150,000 ) * 10

So that's approximately 28.125 TIX every day on top of the IOST you already get.

Luckily we have a bot that does the math and sends out rewards automatically!
