English version
I'm Eilder Jorge Garcia, I'm a 27 years old Cuban and I work as a software developer at a company called Tecnomatica. To be brief, I'm very curious and I'm always trying to learn something new, knowledge is power after all.
I do not know what a Language Manager is, but I've done plenty of translations before; mostly during my university days. I'd like to apply for translator at DaVinci for economic reasons, that's the long and the short of it; satisfying my curiosity and learning more things while translating is just a side-effect. It's not like I expect huge payments either, but my monthly salary is near 70$ and that doesn't even pay the bills.
As far as qualifications go: I don't think I have any particular qualification for my native language; in fact, I don't think I've meet anyone around here who has such a certification. I did have good test scores during my studies and I do have some titles and certifications proving my English mastery, it's just that I never even thought of doing a Spanish certification exam. In my favor however, I do have some skills using computer assisted translation tools thanks to my developer background; plus, I can read and type fast, last time I checked I kept a consistent reading speed somewhere near the 700 WPM (Words per minute). I have seen Utopian before and want to work with it more, however, since I joined Steemit not long ago I haven't had the time to do so.

Translation was incredibly hard on this one since it was more like notes I made when writing a guide for a game. As a result the text is poorly formatted, full of slang and filled with words that cannot be easily translated to Spanish. Machine translation does a ridiculously poor work translating this text, so I hope this proves that I do know both languages by heart and practice. On a side note, I've been using both English and Spanish since I was 12 years old, so I'm quite familiar with both languages and possess an extensive vocabulary. I do not know the language in the usual way taught at schools, I just look at the text and feel when something is right or wrong... it kind of clicks in my head when something isn't properly used or translated just due to sheer use. If you want me to translate something else to prove my knowledge and skills, just say so.
