Bingeing Out On Dragon Ball Z For The Past 48 Hrs.

in #dbz7 years ago (edited)

After coming home from an interesting and hectic day of real-estate, i wined it down with catching up to my favorite all time anime Dragon Ball Z(DBZ). DBZ was the most popular show back in the days and i would wake up at 3 am in the morning just to watch the latest episodes however i usually would not wake up in time because i would be too tired from basketball practice and life so i have missed a few of the episodes.

Today You-tube has made it much easier for me to be able to view every episodes in one place so i have been bingeing out for the past 48 hrs and watching episodes that i have missed.

Which reminded me that my favorite DBZ characters are Vegeta, Picollo and Gohan for sure, even though there are millions of people that may disagree because they love Goku. My most favorite saga is the Cell Saga, when Gohan went Super Saiyan 2.

The true DBZ fans would remember that moment and can appreciate it.

If you are a true DBZ fan share your favorite DBZ moment and i will Up-vote 2 comments that i think are the best with 100% of my voting power.

This is hilarious I am watching DBZ right now and have been starting at the beginning. I am getting close to the end now in the Majin Buu at episode 239. I agree with you the Cell saga is the best of them all. The allegory in the show is amazing and directly reflects on what many of us go through in life and how to overcome it.
The Cell is exactly what many of us are trapped in due to how we have exploded our own cells and created a bad environment for them within our bodies. It is self regenerating just like our cells, but can only truly heal to its perfect state when we get out of the way of it and stop causing damage.
The constant "powering up" at every point in the series is a reminder of how we need to breath correctly so that our body can move and operate as it was intended. We can flux energy through out bodies in the same way as they do when we put our minds to it and release the tension. Haven't quiet mastered throwing energy balls or flying yet though, but I don't see why it isn't a possibility ;)
I could go on endlessly on the allegory and teachings in the show, but Ill stop there.
My favorite moment would have to be when Cell regenerated out of nothing after self destructing. This is the same thing we can do even when we are over the brink of what we deem repairable. We can also fix our Cells and recreate ourselves back into the original perfect form.
I am a mix between Picollo and Goku. I even sometimes only drink water on my fasts as Picollo does. The name Goku basically means God which is obvious from how he is the center focus of the series.

I love DBZ and have binged some many times. Gotta check out DB super. Shit is crazy

One of the best all time still was the final explosion for Majin Vegeta.... my hair raises every time I watch it on YouTube.

I don't know if you ever watched TeamFourStar on YouTube, be they do / did classic dragon ball z paradises, they were hilarious! Almost at times better than the original! They did up to the Cell Games before they are calling it quits, and Cell is amazing in it. Not to shamelessly promote a random channel.

But I think on the topic of best DBZ villain Cell had it hands down!
