With appropriate technology I can hear, but otherwise out in the real world without tech, naked (no tech) I'm deaf. I'm talking about dispelling some myths, like not all deaf people sign, not all deaf people speak, not all deaf people use ASL as I for one use SEE and PSE depending on when it suits me best. This video is recorded using Signed English to give you a better understanding of my world outside of using my voice for recording videos and the tech I use for making podcasts. My daily life, I hear next to nothing.
I also go over how we have residual hearing loss many of us, and how my mixed hearing loss, especially with it mostly being conductive for me, allows me to bypass my hearing loss with conduction headphones that without them I'm deaf but with them I hear.
This video is NOT ASL.

more finger spelling"
when you point to your ear, you are not signing hearing? cuz i believe hearing sign is similar to watching sign just at ur ear instead of eye....
