Got caught up in life's struggles and forgot what I really loved to do. Please forgive me friends. That job i had was momentarily great and served it's purpose and it helped me have better knowledge of the disease process known as cancer. You see my aunt was diagnosed with stage 3a lung cancer and it was a tremendous battle that she had suffered terribly with. Between me and my mother, we taking turns caring for her and of course....making her comfortable.
I remembered going to work and was taking care of a patient who had a similar fate and he told me that the doctors did not give him longer then a year to live and he said that he was encouraged to keep on writing and the son drug out all these pencils and told him to write again. I had told him that I love to write as well and he he reached over to the patient table and handed me one of these...
"All the famous writers use these....ever hear of Steinbeck??" he grinned and motioned me to keep the pencil.
Next couple of days he died from his cancer and however, i took notice. Even went home and spent more time with my aunt and we always tried making her laugh. My cousins would sing to her and we would always talk about business and her love for garage sales,etc. Sad to report that she was put on hospice and she too, died. But she was comfortable. I am not gonna lie...losing a loved one is very detrimental to anyone.

However, it further encouraged me to get out the lead and actually do what i love...to write.
So, my readers i shall leave this quote with you and encourage you to do what you love to do as well.
"Death is one of two things...
Either it is annihilation, and the dead have no consciousness of anything;
or, as we are told, it is really a change:
a migration of the soul from one place to another."
