What is Decentraland?
Decentraland (also known as MANA on exchanges) is the very first to market VR world that is brought to us by cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology. Many people have the misconception that this is a game, and while there can be gaming in Decentraland, it is much more than that.
Decentraland is essentially the very first digital world with digital real estate where you can buy, sell, develop, and rent land.
What will be in Decentraland?
There will be 90,000 in Genesis City which is the first "world" in Decentraland.
Decentraland will feature many huge cities that are basically community funded projects where people could stake 1000 mana at a time(1 lot of land equalled 1000 mana) to become part of that city. Many cities allow development of the land staked as long as the aesthetics of the city were followed, and others will develop the land for the stakee and return profit sharing for the contribution.
Here are some of the larger projects that will be featured in Decentraland:
Aetherian City- The largest and main attraction in Decentraland that will feature a VR night club, gaming tournaments, casinos, Tron-like racing for real MANA, and more!
Freemont City- Formerly known as "Vegas City", this will be the very first to-market VR casino world. Players from all across the world will be able to put on their VR Headsets and gamble in blockchain open-sourced casinos for real MANA and probably many other coins as well. Not only will there be casinos, but expect to see much of the other entertainment you might expect to find in the real Las Vegas here as well!
The Red Light District- Your source for VR porn, adult chat, and adult dating. There will also be VR adult stores where you can buy your sex toys discreetly!
Fashion Street- Bringing high end VR stores like Gucci and Ralph Lauren to Decentraland and creating a high sensory shopping experience without leaving your home!
Decentraland University- The definitive centre for education in Decentraland.
Many more- There are many more community oriented projects as well, but I only named the most interesting to me. Anyone could also buy land during the Decentraland Auction and essentially create anything they want on that parcel. They could also rent out or sell their land later as well. The possibilities with Decentraland are truly endless and that is one of the reasons why this project is so exciting!

How high could Decentraland(MANA) go?
Considering that I think every major crypto and exchange will want land and a business on this platform and considering that it will most likely be the very first fully immersive VR world that has it's own economy, I think that the total market cap of Decentraland could exponentially rise from year to year.
Anyone that owns or rents land in this VR world will have a chance to make money and the more popular the world becomes, the more valuable the coin and land will be itself.
If Decentraland can capture a small fraction of the online gambling market, that in of itself will be enough to make it a multibillion dollar market cap coin, and the gambling is only one small fraction of the capability that this coin and world has to offer.
I am not sure what kind of short term gains will be available from this coin, but there will be lots of it burned soon after the completion of the first land auction. More will be burned later on in the actual world itself.
I think Decentraland will easily hit a $10 Billion dollar market cap one day, and it could even see $100 Billion in the long term if it materializes like I think it can.
