Visibility is an important part of living, especially for businesses. During the dot com boom and with the advent of google, businesses paid hugely to be found on the first page of the search engine. They believed, if you can be found, you would sell. Visibility isn’t more important to virtual businesses as it is for physical ones. The quest to be seen is same across board, and owing to this address systems became very important.
In our inter-connected, globalized world, the necessity for a wide-ranging, efficient and universal addressing system has become even more important. This is why so much effort has been made to put forward a comprehensive, functional and universal addressing system.
Numerous attempts at getting an efficient and an encompassing address system recorded numerous pitfalls from Ptolemy’s Geographical Coordinates.
The Ptolemy’s Geographical Coordinates is, the world’s initial attempt at a location identification technology. This system has been used since its introduction in the first world atlas in A.D. 150. Its mechanism is moderately unpretentious. it uses angular dimensions to designate positions on the Earth’s surface. But without much precision to its use, Sir Isaac Newton formalized the foremost widespread definition and code of a geographical coordinates system: a system that permitted every position on Earth to be labeled by a set of numbers, letters or symbols. Despite its universal usage, it is far from being perfect. Its primary defect lies in the conversion technique of the distances at different positions across the world. Also, the longitude/latitude placements are difficult to comprehend, especially for folks not acquainted with maps.
The introduction of the postal services was a welcome development but didn’t do too much good, it was characterized by multiple flaws. E.g. postal code arrangements in some areas proved inadequate, necessitating dispatchers to further specify the desired address.
again, absence of a simple plotting algorithm to a physical location (i.e. coordinates), most worrisome is the fact that the address formats are dissimilar throughout the world.Notwithstanding these advances throughout time, an unassuming solution to addressing has yet to be reached.
NAVIADDRESS seeks to introduce its solution.
"NAVIADDRESS" projects a system where addresses are easy to obtain and are accessible even to those who live on unnamed street or unnumbered buildings.
What is NAVIADDRESS?
Naviaddress, is the conception of a decentralized global unified address system for real and virtual worlds. The chief feature and benefit of the Naviaddress System lies in the ease of its description of addresses and places. This projects particularly a specific, ranked arrangement of digits beginning in most cases with a Container (conforming to the global country code) and followed by an order of digits built either on information from a precise postal address or mechanically allotted by the System.
An example of a NAVIADDRESS.
Worthy of note is the fact a naviaddress and its representation/may differ depending on the type of naviaddress used and item represented.
There are fundamentally 3 groups of naviaddresses within the Naviaddress System:
- The Custom Naviaddresses,
Representing dynamic objects, that may be moved.
- The Postal naviaddresses
Representing static objects, such as buildings, structures or locations.
- The Worldwide naviaddresses, depicting mobile objects.
Summarily, The NAVIADDRESS has been established by the Naviaddress Platform Operator built on patented technology able to allot a digital address to any place in the world.
The central philosophies of the Naviaddress System and its explanations are:
Lucidity in any language and for every culture: an address is denoted by digits alone.
The Naviaddress proposes a basic, generally identifiable, digit address, such as: ([71] 0022)
It Addresses an object or place: an amalgam of postal addressing and geotagging competences
It is more than an address storehouse: there is a possibility for users to add supplementary information. The presence of an endless user content insertion possibilities, such as contacts, “last mile” and more.
