As human, effective decision making is one of the major attribute that distinguish us from other creatures of the world. We decide different things everyday for instance, which dress I should wear today? should I go for coffee or tea? If coffee that which one? Should I go on public bus or hire a taxi for me? Or major decisions of life like what job should I take? Decisions of relationships and many other decisions.
Decision making can be sometime a very hard and tedious job especially when you are facing life challenging and life changing issues. Our mind and our thinking are controlled by the events that happened around us. Our decision making is totally based on the situations we are currently facing and our way of precepting things and our thinking lead us to take the decision.
For example, you are facing financial crises? You will decide to go for any job you are offered that time, you are financially strong? Now you will go for the job that can develop your career and can help you in growing our personality, you will start chasing success only when you have developed yourself financially.
Same goes with the economic and political situation of a country. The people of developed and economically strong countries go for high standard living, they strat experimenting on different things that lead them to invent life changing technologies and increase their creative power. People living in a developing countries and in third world countries have finance(two time meal a day and a place to live) as their preferences.
A person who is getting all basic need of life decide to go for luxury and one who is deprived of them decide to get basic need fulfilled first.
To make a good and effective decision you need to focus your mind on what you really want to achieve not only on what is looking best now. The hesitation and nervousness always lead to the decisions that may seem valid now but in a long run they are going to give you discomfort.
"Yes, there are two paths you can go by...
But in the long run, there's still
time to change the road you're on..."
-Led Zeppelin (Stairway To Heaven)
Usually the road that look difficult and have more thrones and obstacles is the one that lead us to glory
Welcome to Steemit! I really enjoyed this post, despite the fact that it has a few spelling miatakes and typos. A bit of proofreading before posting should do the trick to make your post more appealing. As for the content, I really like what you are doing. your way of thinking is very cohesive and deep. One thing you didn’t add that I couldn’t help but to comment on is the theory that our brains only make a finite number if good decisions in one day before tiring out. This is why we see people like Mark Zuckerburg for example always wear the same clothes (not one pair but many pairs of the same clothing) so he doesn’t have to waste one of his good decisions in the morning on what to wear. It’s a truly marvelous thing. Really interesting.
Well done! Keep up the good work!
Yeah i am working on making my future posts more attractive and more appealing. your kind words are much appreciated. Yes i have seen this habit in many successful people, They don't waste their valuable time on making decisions about Least important things.
That's great to hear! Keep working hard and success is bound to come. Yes, they value their time. Time is the most precious thing we have.
