DeepOnion and Dash coin have emerged as two of the best anonymous crypto currencies in the anonymous crypto space along with Monero, Zcash etc and the battle between these coins is heating up. Both DeepOnion and Dash coin were designed with the sole purpose of helping users around the world conduct crypto transactions online in a completely anonymous manner without allowing anyone to invade the privacy of the users, but they use different methods to achieve this task. Which one does it better? Lets find out.
Dash coin mixes user transactions through masternodes to obscure the identity of users and to enable complete privacy for the users. This method is much better than what bitcoin uses to protect the privacy of its users, but it has one major flaw which is that users are completely dependent on the masternodes themselves. If the masternodes are compromised, the identity of the user is revealed.
Another big disadvantage of dash coin is that the developer(Evan Duffield) is said to have instamined a huge number of dashcoins and is said to possess a sizeable number of masternodes according to many people which if true, is very dangerous since Evan has the power to manipulate the crypto market to his own advantage which is why Dash is not as popular as Monero.
On the other hand, DeepOnion provides users complete anonymity by shielding their privacy through the TOR browser which is known to be unhackable(IF used properly). The FBI were able to hack the TOR browser recently since the suspected criminals did not even use the TOR browser properly in an efficient manner. Also, the developers of DeepOnion are giving away majority of DeepOnions to people around the world including me for FREE and ask little in return(Small scale signature campaign).
These two advantages give DeepOnion a sizeable lead over Dash coin which is why I feel DeepOnion is the winner of the battle of the titans and will become the defacto number one anonymous crypto coin in the future.
