Is DeepOnion Better than Monero?
Cryptocurrency is a form of digital money designed to be secure and, in many cases, anonymous. It is associated with the internet and cryptography, the process of converting information into an almost uncrackable code, to track transfers and purchases.
Cryptography was born from the need of securing the communication during wartime, and it has evolved in the digital era thanks to progress in the fields of mathematical theory and computer science to become a secure way for communication, information, and online money.
The first cryptocurrency was Bitcoin created in 2009, and it is still the most popular cryptocurrency by far. That said, there are now more than 300 available cryptocurrencies on the internet.
DeepOnion is a hybrid cryptocurrency that includes numerous upgrades. It features distinctive traits such The Proof of Stake (PoS) that provides a long-term economic development and stability, encouraging users to expand the network and making transaction times instant. It also contains the X13 Proof of Work (PoF) algorithm and a full integration with The Onion Router (TOR). These features make all their connections go through the TOR Network. As a result, DeepOnion is integrated with The Onion Router, so your IP will not be shown on the network.
The Onion Router (TOR) is a free software that allows for anonymous communication between two or more parties. TOR directs Internet traffic through a free, worldwide, volunteer overlay network consisting of more than seven thousand relays to conceal a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network surveillance or traffic analysis.
Monero (XMR) is an open-source cryptocurrency that focuses on privacy, decentralisation, and scalability. Monero is based on the CryptoNote, an application layer protocol that powers several decentralised and privacy-oriented digital currencies.
A common question between DeepOnion users is, "is it possible for DeepOnion to hit a bigger audience and trade on the main exchanges?" Well, DeepOnion has displayed remarkable potential in the crypto market, within a week of its listing on Novaexchange, it soared from 0.000002 BTC/ONION to 0.00012750 BTC/ONION indicating 500% leap and a market capitalisation of $1.673 million. Currently, DeepOnion trades at 0.00031507BTC with a market cap of $3.85 million. There are currently about 3,315,252Onions in circulation. These figures are expected to rise with the incoming DeepSend technology and free airdrops.
Staying anonymous is easy in DeepOnion thanks to The Onion Router anonymity network, which enables 100% anonymity. You can carry out transactions without making your original IP known to anyone who might be interested in playing a fast one on you. The TOR network also ensures operations to remain untraceable by any legal or illegal body.
There is no lag when it comes to confirm transactions on DeepOnion. It is just in the matter of seconds to receive a confirmation, and with the use of hidden addresses, DeepOnion payments are untraceable. DeepOnion also allows you to send secure messages to other users of DeepOnion through the Encrypted End-to-end Message system.
DeepOnion is leaps and bounds better and more secure than Monero. So, if someone is looking for these features or wants the growth of an investment, DeepOnion is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies in 2017.
You didn't actually compare Monero with DeepOnion...
You are only making a general description of DeepOnion, everyone already understands it, it's written at everywhere.
Very nice information. Just today I saw DeepOnion listed and after looking at its webpage, I was wondering what made it better than other coins that make anonymity a priority. Also, thanks for the numbers on how it has grown. Upvoting and following. Hope you keep posting useful information like this.
DeepOnion use great technology (Tor network) which provides a better secure traffic than other coins (such a vpn services). In addition, a very good project named DeepSend could increase anonymity overall by applying a better method than that used by Monero!
