DeepPoints is a rewards program on the DeepOnion forum, which rewards users for a variety of activity. It encourages quality content, regularly activity and input from the community.
Many people continue to ask questions about DeepPoints, these vary from "How many Onions is 1 DeepPoint equates to?", "How many DeepPoints you receive each post?" or "How do I convert DeepPoints to Onions? "
This guide is designed to be a reference as well as a tutorial, if you ever need the information, hopefully this guide will contain it.
DeepPoints were first introduced October 25 2017. The first airdrop for DeepPoints was November 3 2017, and currently the airdrops will continue each Sunday until early 2018.
Currently each week the distribution allocated for DeepPoints is 25,000 Onions.
How do you join the DeepPoints airdrop?
Simply having an activated account on the DeepOnion forums that is not banned makes you eligible.
How do you earn DeepPoints?

Deep Domination
There are also special tasks which can only be completed once that reward extra DeepPoints. Currently this section is known as the Deep Domination section. Currently these reward a handsome 0.0015 DeepPoints per completion, the equivalent to 15 likes.
To participate in the Deep Domination section, your DeepOnion forum account must be more than 7 days old, and have more than 3 posts.
How do you convert DeepPoints into Onions?
This happens automatically each Sunday. All the DeepPoints are calculated and then Onions distributed to each account based on their DeepPoint "weight" before the DeepPoints are reset.
Your weight is based on the amount amount of points you earned, divided by the amount of DeepPoints earned collectively by everyone.
For example if there are 1,000 users and on average each user earned 0.01 DeepPoints, therefore the total amount earned would be 10 DeepPoints. If you earned 0.015, that would be your weight which is 0.015% of the total amount.
If there are 25,000 Onions for distribution, your share would be 0.015% or 375 Onions and that would be the amount you receive, congratulations!
Remember each week the total amount of DeepPoints earned will be different, as will be the amount you earn.
Is there anything I can do to get banned or excluded?
Yes - Be very aware that Moderators and other members are actively looking for people cheating the system, and are not afraid to ban these users. First of all, if you get banned, do not make another account, that is against the rules and will result in further accounts also getting banned.
If you make multiple accounts, all accounts will be banned and you will not receive your airdrop.
If you spam or plagiarize, you will be banned.
If you post filler and then edit the post, you will be banned.
If you ask users to like your posts or follow you, you will be banned.
If you repost in multiple sections, you will be banned.
Conclusion
Remember, the goal is quality and constructive posts. Spend the extra time writing more words and you'll get rewarded with more DeepPoints. The aim is to earn as many DeepPoints as possible, but without compromising the quality of your posting. Also do not make a habit of trying to calculate how many Onions you will receive for your DeepPoints, you will only set yourself for disappointment.
