DEC 16th - Last weeks it's very active in DeepOnion community. With an average of 161.7 new members per day it has never been so vibrant. This, of course, is formidable. New members means new holders which means a higher price of the DeepOnion. This also means a greater range of advertisement. But there's also a shadow side of this whole story.
More work
The new members are awesome and more than welcome. It's great to see something what has been so small to grow so big. Even experts say it's a big accomplishment creating such a big community in a matter of time. Deeponion is alive and that's more than a fact. However this is a great fact, the work grows bigger everyday. I've seen a lot of new members coming and abusing the system. Some come back with new accounts, not really knowing why they've been banned. The moderators are working overtime by keeping the system bright and clean. It's obvious the new members are taking a lot of time.
Rise from the dead
Many members come back, with new accounts. Wetter it is to take part of the society again or to redress. It seems many members don't know why they've been banned so they want to know why and how. I've seen them starting threads with questioning why they are banned. This creates even more work, this is why i'm about to clear up some questions.
Reasons
Being banned isn't done without any reason. Every action by a mod has a reason behind it. This doesn't mean they will go and take the time to explain to you what you did wrong. However it seems that every member feels they need a special treatment, they simply don't have the time for that. I found out many people think this is some kind of game. Just for fun. But DeepOnion is pure business, which is completely understandable since you can make a lot of money by being part of it. Business means that you have to maintain a certain "code". This "code" is explained by every deepdominationtaks you visit.
Language barrier
I've seen that a lot of these "bans" are caused by a lack of speaking decently English. This is what causes many trouble since we're visiting other websites and forums. We need to show them our business card and this can't be done with improper English. Don't get me wrong, if your English is understandable it's okay. But I've seen some really bad DeepDominationTasks.
Police station
Since these poorly executed DeepDominationtasks, DeepOnion is forced to act like a Police Station. If you don't follow the rules, you'll be forced to jail (banned). I think this is a good way (and needed) to create a proper and decent community. Most people think "easy money" and it is, but you have to use your brains. Try to imagine that someone try's to sell you a onion, what would be the reason you'd buy it? It would be if the sales pitch is good. So fellow onions, use your onion brains and don't get banned!
over and out.
