- Dragonfish
Dragonfish typically dwell down as far as two kilometres below the ocean’s surface although they do start their lives up on top as a result of their eggs being buoyant

This creature, if nothing else, has an awesome name. It also has (proportionate to body size) the largest eyes of any creature in the world which might seem peculiar given I lives down at depths where there is little to no light.
- Giant Squid
Giant squid have only rarely had human eyes lay upon them and has, at times, been considered a part of mythical folklore and legend.
