It's kind of crazy to see how much the Deepseek situation changed things around in AI. I have seen OpenAI trying to sue Deepseek by claiming that it stole data that it collected from other AI platforms such as ChatGPT. I don't think the lawsuit has much merit because OpenAI was sued for the same reasons but they are fight against it.
As for the US bill, I think its dumb. Cheaper and faster AI is obviously a good thing and I think it's dumb to even try to control things like that.
