Have you looked into how a change to 50/50 might affect the value of SBI upvotes? My first reaction is that in the short run values would drop significantly but in the long run increased curation earnings by the sbi bots might increase the bots’ voting strength making it a wash. Just a guess on my part though.

That's mostly accurate - in line with our expectations.
Each value stream will be impacted a little differently (regular enrollment, delegation, upvoting bonuses) and we will make the necessary adaptations.
At core the code-base will not need changed, but there would be some adjustments at configuration level.
