(cross-posted from the Steem blockchain)
Like many of you, I’ve started a power down on the Steem blockchain. Initially, for just over 8,000 SP. The rest of my SP is/was tied up in delegations. Between the 8k and the delegations, I’ve got just short of 19,000 SP, a mid-sized dolphin. I’ve started cancelling some of delegations and will eventually end all of them. I might drop down to being a small minion (interesting typo, I meant minnow) on Steem but hang around for a bit just for the schadenfreude of a front-row seat watching Justin Sun’s implosion of Steemlandia. Plans may change, but after power downs I’ll probably end up dumping 95+% of my STEEM, converting most of it to Hive Power.
I’ve already withdrawn at least a half dozen delegations but more will follow, including those to charities and other good causes. Some of the delegations have been long-standing, such as over two years for @azizbd’s @schoolforsdg4 project. But for now at least, most of my delegations over on the Hive blockchain will remain in place.
Same boat myself
Ditto. Started a power down of 1500SP, myself. Sun is going to regret this...
Hello again. Can you give me some pointers on how to convert to hive power?
Thanks. Hope you're doing well. :)
D'oh! Pilot error on my part. The ionomy withdrawals work fine, as long as you pay attention and authenticate with the link they email you.
Thanks for all the info! It is appreciated.
From liquid Steem? Blocktrades has been working intermittently so you could try that. I’ve also used ionomy.com three times (no KYC) and it worked great the first time but glitched the second two. I have not tried bittrex.
So far, the Steem to Hive process seems klunky to me.
Cool. Thanks for the feedback!
I’ve since use blocktrades again, it worked just fine. Might not be the best exchange rate and you can’t place limit orders, but it’s an “okay” option otherwise. When it’s working, it’s fast.
