Recently my colleague @crypto.piotr had a great article where he talked about facebook, which really prompted me to write about social engineering.
My most important question would be: is deleting your facebook account now going to change much? Will you be able to protect your data anyway? Personally I don't believe that removing your account from that platform can erase all collected information about any of us. But perhaps Im wrong?
Do you know what Social Engineering is all about? In some cases it's also called computer security, let's talk about it?
You might consider that Social Engineering is the way to obtain confidential information through the manipulation of valid users within the network or networks, simply deceiving any user to allow them to access the useful information they want to obtain, through some psychological manipulation, or social skills also known as social skills within a medium. According to some writers, social engineering is also a term that could be turned upside down from a political point of view, in order not to extend it further, I would specify more as a way to violate the privacy of any of the users of some social networks. Who is susceptible to this type of network?
The main target for any "attacker" if we can so determine is any weak user, also known as easy prey, we will determine attacker as any person or the known hackers of this new era! Within the classic to be able to be white of them will use the Internet to achieve it, so learn to protect first your keys, then go through the data submerged in this type of networks, almost always to make frauds.
