Hello, I am on Steemit too.
FOr those that do not know me, I am a mathematician that uses mathematics to develop alternative voting systems.
I study eDemocracy, Voting Systems, and I am now interested in applying it to online DAO.
Recently I made a video to explain a new electoral system that is both, at the same time, Proportionally Representative and Majoritarian. This has not much to do with DAO governance (at least for now). But will give you an idea of the kind of work that I do.
My main contribution has been in the field the development of the Vilfredo system. And I did promise to Vinay Gupta that eventually I will export that to Ether. But all this is far off.
So without further ado: here is how to make a voting system that is both, at the same time, majoritarian and proportional.
P.S. right now I am in Toulouse to teach at a Summer School where they asked me to speak about Vilfredo. So far I am not satisfied by any of my english presentations of Vilfredo, so hopefully this time we might make something decent, and then I will post it here.
Very interesting
