I just looked it up - 91 years! Monarchs funerals are big, but Henrik's is not going to be very public. It was his own wish that he just had his ashes scattered over the Danish seas.

Your royals may be more low key than ours. Some of our papers would be pretty empty without royal stories, but I'm really not interested.

To me they are mainly the people who sign the laws. I pitty them some time. I wouldn't like to be a public person like that, but most of the time I do not think about them. We do have magazines that mainly writes about them, but not so much in the newspapers.

According to people who meet them, my wife amongst others, they are quite low key. I guess they are like the people expect them to be, and in Denmark that is down to earth.

Royals don't seem to have much freedom as they have to meet certain expectations. It's a sort of golden prison :) Just seems an anachronism these days
