---[-]--- My Ideas on Depression and the Causes ---[-]---
---[-]--- What is it??? ---[-]---
Think in terms of history when consulting these issues, have you heard of your grandparents complaining about "depression". probably not but, if that is the case go further back, I guarantee the ancient Greek/Egyptians/Indians have never thought of entertaining such a degrading value.
What is depression? does anyone actually know, ill tell you - It's an opinion
I'll accept that some people who go through so really traumatic things do have an actual problem but, to me it's an epidemic that weak minded people victimise themselves as an excuse for being unsuccessful because they listened to their parents advice which lead to a mass resurgence of Ego - Ego is the most common mental disease that is there is
---[-]--- How It Started ---[-]---
Ego occurs when the person feels a sense of entitlement - during the 60-80's going to university was a good thing as most people didn't go, so having a degree was worth it but, as that generation have children they give them advice based on there personal experiences, almost every one of those children whet onto university - making the degree worthless!
Also university culture encourages a short-term happiness life style, a partying on a night and 3 cups of coffee in the morning routine is not natural + the use of prescribed concentration medication (adderall) will build up a tolerance in the brain which will lead to harsher and more frequent use.
---[-]--- Emotional Attachment on "Depression" ---[-]---
This generation also has a false sense of belonging, it's prominent in modern feminism, SJW, Democrat/Republican, Conservative/Labour. Which such an ignorant, egotistical urge to be part of a party/ideology people will not take other views into consideration, instead aggressively label other views as "hate" then return to there safe space (metaphorically) - How Does This Link To Depression? - well, the moral of the story is that people are too emotionally attached to what they believe to be the truth is, which is one of the reasons why they're "depressed", because they're in constant conflict with themselves and reality.
---[-]--- How Social Media Has a Part In It ---[-]---
Social media has a big part in it as well, the average person on Facebook/Instagram/SnapChat/twitter will have around 500-2000 friends on each account. In a world indulged in short-term happiness, at any one time at least a few people are on Holiday or doing something seemingly enjoyable. To a lot of people this can "depress" them because they have to impression that everyone is having a good time without them.
Celebrity culture also has an impact on social media - all celebs have account which show an almost perfect life ( that's how they get a big following ) however, it must be noted that behind every post is about an hour of set-up and 10 hours of harassment.
---[-]--- The Food We Eat Is Another Cause ---[-]---
The food we eat also has a huge impact on our well-being. It is unnatural to eat so much and to be eating foods ( which we think are good ) but, are actually harmful. Fast food is an obvious killer, all of it sugars/fats and starches will riddle thee body and brain with disease. Even seemingly good food like nut i.e Almonds contain Cyanide!! Many of the foods we think ad healthy are genetically modified and hybrid plants which are not welcome in our bodies.
---[-]--- How Radiation Is involved ---[-]---
Radiation is also another cause of "depression", most commonly found in radio towers. We all live near a few radio towers but did you know they give off millions of frequencies - the brain a receiver of frequencies - if you want a clear conscience you must deprive yourself of these artificial frequencies. Phones and computers are also a problem regarding the brain however they are not nearly as strong as a radio tower.
There are storied of people who went down into cave and went insane! due to the shift in conciseness because the artificial frequencies couldn't penetrate that far down
Do you guys agree with me???
My suggestion to help .....add in the bottom who you are and maybe verify your profile. Might be also important to write an #introduceyourself tagged article.
This is an incredibly well written thought structure about such important problem and "disease" of our youth in particular. My daughter is effected and I asked myself many times where from, why and maybe I am one of the reasons for her dilemma and struggles. I don't know! I will read your interesting article once again and see how I feel for the second round to let you know if I agree fully with you. It's such pleasure meeting you and thank you for your kind and simple words "I like You"!
Thank you so much I really appreciate the feed back!, if you have any objections or see any faults i'd love to hear them. I'm always looking for the truth.
About your daughter, from my research, having a "purpose" is the best way to get out of it. Having a purpose leads to Fulfilment (being proud of something) - which is far more powerful than immediate happiness (which fades away). I've heard going to the gym is a great way to overcome these things as it physically affects the body and mind.
Hope you get some use out of this!
Yes, she is but I think that at some point many of us experience this struggle inbetween reality and ourselves.
I was "there" as well but I did not label it as "depression" it was a part of my path to allow myself to fall in a dark hole because I realized it's so much more special and euphoric to dance towards the light.
Without knowing the dark we don't know the difference. It takes a while to find our purpose and we might even loose it again but I call this "being simply alive" and live life as it presents to us, like a roller coaster ride. I enjoy the Ups after the downs. My bipolar friend said a day ago : "the Ups are so much more fun".
Acceptance comes with experience. Some people need to thrive in sadness because it's a safer place for them, maybe scared of the happiness they would deserve.
I hope this makes sense.
Couldn't agree more, hope your daughter gets better :)
