Video games definitely saved my life.
Well, one in particular. When I was about 25 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer and had to drop everything - work, school, friends - while I recovered. the only thing I could do, easily, was play World of Warcraft, and the friendships and relationships I forged there kept me sane as I went through the whole excruciating process. In fact, that's where I met my wife @alladesria!
Wow that's amazing! I always read about people meeting each other in video games and getting married but it's pretty rare! It's cool to know a fellow Steemian is one of those lucky ones. I'm glad you recovered, thanks for sharing that tasy tidbit with us!
