RE: Can a Video Game Save Your Life?

in #depression8 years ago

I played games for almost my entire life and they helped me learn skills like English, fighting, how to survive etc. But games aren't all good, I remember not going out with friends, because I wanted to stay home and play games. I missed an extreme number of meet ups and lost friends, because it's much easier to stay home and play instead of interacting socially. I never picked up a sport, because playing games is much more rewarding than trying hard and failing many times. Sometimes I think that if I never played a game in my life, I would have accomplished much more... So, games are fun and all, but if you play them to escape your life, you should probably change your life and not look for an escape.
