Depression is extremely hard to deal and live with, anyone that's lived with it (or seen it first hand) knows this, deeply. That's why I've created a quick list of 4 simple meal and snack ideas for when you really can't face cooking for yourself.
But of course, we gotta eat. Sometimes even just putting something good into our bodies is enough to lift it briefly and the vitamins and minerals definitely won't hurt.

Avocado Toast -
Toast the bread
Slice the avocado
Season with a little salt, pepper and lemon juice to your taste
Optional
Hardboil an egg or 2
Throw some nuts or seeds on top
Simple Wraps
You can add anything you want into a wrap!
Some spinach, tomatoes, tuna (if you're a fish eater), salad, a little cheese (perhaps Halloumi) and even some avocado - It's all great, quick and healthy.
Top tip - If you cut it up into tiny pieces it becomes less daunting than staring at a giant wad of food.
Bananas, Blueberries & Yogurt. It's that simple, blend it and you're done. Add a bit of honey for that extra sweetness or some chia seeds for more volume.
Green smoothies!
1 cup green tea, chilled
1 cup kale or spinach
1 cup cucumber
1 cup pineapple
juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon grated ginger
Add more fruit if that's your thing!
