This was a very hard contest for @alevaskye and I to judge. There were so many amazing entries in all of the different tiers. This was a very fun contest that we will be doing again in the future, so I hope the newer photographers have learned something to take with them when they go out and get images for the next Take it to the Streets contest.
Street photography is not about going out and getting the best landscape or cityscape shot. It is about getting those candid moments of humanity. The best street photographers are able to sit back and watch life unfold in front of them and have the eye to line everything up perfectly in camera to make an interesting image that tells a story about life. You all did awesome on this challenge.
Reminder - There will be a prize pool of 5 SBD for each tier for the photo of the month. At after the final contest results are posted, I will create an additional post for everyone to cast their votes for their top photo of the month.
Each 1st place winner throughout the month will be tagged in the post as notification to drop their photo in comment section and the photo from each tier that receives the highest number of votes, number not value, will win the 5 SBD, plus they get all the rewards of the upvotes on their comment too, so win win for them.

Professional
This is the definition of street photography. Capturing people in their everyday life while trying to remain invisible yourself. This woman is resting and I am sure that she just got done hand washing that large tub of dishes next to her. This woman has led a life that would have some very interesting stories.
Sometimes as a street photographer you are going to be seen and are no longer invisible. Luckily is was just this stowaway that saw you. The great thing about this image is that you can just see her eyes so you are left wondering what the rest of the expression is.
This is such a cool photo. You have a man hanging out in the park with man's best friend and the dog is the coolest thing in the whole park. I wonder what the dog was looking at.

When Marko posted this photo, he was unsure if it fit the definition of street photography. This photo is so amazing. I am not sure what song the man is playing, but you can tell he is one of those musicians that gets so into the music that he begins to feel the emotion of the piece he is playing. Beautiful photo, this is definitely one of my favorites that I have seen on the Steemit platform. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I really like this picture for multiple reasons. I love the colors in it and it is edited perfectly. @ifechi-works said that this was a race between the kids on the bike and I really liked how he captured the ones in the background but still gave space in front of the main subject to show his direction of travel. I am hoping for more great images from you.
Like I said before, street photography is about capturing people in their natural habitat. @juancarlos1175 said this man can fix any appliance and you caught him in the middle of doing just that.

This would be such an awesome thing to see. I have often wondered if the music had anything to do with charming the snake or if the instrument itself was just a distraction for the snake to follow. Great shot.
Sometimes in street photography you have to sit back and wait for the perfect timing on shots. This is an example of just that. Great timing capturing them within the frames and side by side. I wonder how many people walked in front of you until you found the perfect moment to get the right picture.
You never know what you are going to encounter when you go out to take street photography pictures. I have never seen an orange iguana before, let alone an orange iguana with a leash on.
