RE: Encouraging Writers: Free Association

Public Service Announcement:

I would like to point out that the metaphor of Steem and the blockchain isn't absolutely necessary.

In fact, I hope that this particular theme won't be the only theme in #descriptionsonthespot. This analogy was just one outlet for the first two examples -- well, really, the first example, and the whale description was written without any thought as I was already in the 'artistic trap' of that particular theme. This can be both good and bad. Bad as creativity is restricted and good since you have 'parameters' that you can work within.

I greatly appreciate @arcadeinfo for kicking this off with Gilligan!

Good job!

In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang (also yin-yang or yin yang, 陰陽 yīnyáng "dark—bright") describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.
