Typographic Experiments: Letter D

I'm feeling a bit more experimental today...
so the letters above ended up charged with a lot of texture.
As part of the typographic experiments shared on previous posts, the letter D explores the line as visual resource, this time incorporating a touch of color to create a different background-shape relationship.

Once both letter were ready I noticed the colors were quite classic, so why not trying some raw textures to give it a vintage look ( :

Working with typography on a daily basis -besides being lots of fun- gives one the possibility to explore and understand the elementary structure of every character of the alphabet, which in fact are the remanent of ancient pictograms and Cuneiform Writing that evolved over time along with the human race, becoming not only our most precious resource to communicate but a conglomerate of symbols anonymously depicting our times and cultures.

Me he sentido un poco más experimental el día de hoy...
por lo que las letras de arriba terminaron cargadas de textura.
Continuando con los experimentos tipográficos compartidos en posts anteriores, la letra D explora la línea como recurso visual, esta vez incorporando un toque de color para crear una relación figura-fondo diferente.

Una vez que ambas letras estuvieron listas, noté que los colores se veían clásicos, así que por qué no añadirle un poco de textura para un look vintage ( :

Trabajar a diario la Tipografía -además de ser muy divertido- nos da la posibilidad de explorar y entender la estructura elemental de cada caracter del alfabeto, los cuales son de hecho el remanente de antiguos pictogramas y Escritura Cuneiforme que evolucionaron con el tiempo junto a la raza humana, convirtiéndose no solo en nuestro más preciado recurso para comunicarnos, sino en un conjunto de símbolos que anónimamente retratan nuestras culturas y nuestros tiempos.
