It has been a while since I shared anything on Steemit. I recently adopted a puppy (the one in my last post) and she has been keeping me awake at night and busy in the day. I complain about the challenges of adapting to her but she is very good for me.
I wanted to share a banner with fynbos flowers that I am designing to promote my work on social media. It's not quite finished yet.
The flowers were all drawn in Adobe Illustrator. Vector based illustrations used to confuse me but with a little practice, I got used to drawing with anchor points. Now I actually enjoy working with vectors because they work so well when you are creating things like logos which may need to appear in different types of media. Raster graphics are tricky to resize without loss of clarity.
I am just starting to grow my Steemit account so while I won't be posting daily, I certainly plan to keep the updates coming fairly regularly.
