Hey Sketchers & Scribblers
Here is my second entry to week 6 of the #designacharacter contest initiated by @w0olf!
Be sure to join this week's shape challenge here:

Being too lazy to redraw the shapes on paper I decided to copy past them into good ole' Microsoft Paint!
Meet Casa - The Cool Camel!
Redrawing the outlines in paint took waaaay too long since I can't keep a solid sturdy hand on the curved corners with a mouse sooo I think I seriously need to get a digi-sketch pad or a program with saveable layering so that I can back track or just draw more roughly without having to curate every single pixel! Either way, still had loads of fun and learn through the art of pixel-punishment haha!
Anyway, that's it for Creative Sunday! Another sketch done and out in the steeming realm!
Until Next Time...

Free program with layering similar to photoshop is Krita
Try it out and let me know how if you like it :)
Siiick, thanks @zneeke, have you given it a go yet? I mean the cross over from paper-to-digi?
yes :)
I did some small things to learn illustrator :)
like this little guy:
wow, that is so great @zneeke :)
thank you @princessmewmew
but I still prefer the original on paper :)
Oh yea remember him!
I just got "My Paint" Seems like a rad little program, just new interface and shortcuts before I can use it functionally, amazing brushes though! I'm keen to give it a go!
pfffffft
it took me 3 days to finish that one (and to be completely happy with it) :)
(I had to watch several hours worth of tutorials and I have redone him few times) :p
ah ok... so that's what you call "small things"... hahaha
haha. He looks like the first guido camel.
Haha yea his name is derived from Casanova ;)
Now we know what you buy with all your sbd!
Hahaha yea, just another creative toy to play with! Like everything else in my life haha
Hahaha Casa is a really cool Camel! xD
As @zneeke already said, I´d recommend Krita to work with! :)
And as for digi-sketch pad I´d recommend the "Intuos Comic S" from Wacom. Its under 100€ and it´s great to work with.
Anyways great entry especially with these software- limitations!
Awwww, thanks for stopping by in your busy schedule @w0olf! I have been trying "MyPaint" out and am currently enjoying that one, but maybe this Krita is where its actually at! Looking forward to the next contest to try my hand at - Well no that I have just discovered the "Art of Digi-Art" haha, loads more to begin mastering
100% upvote for MS Paint :P
and it's a GIF... gifs rule!
Lol @Fraenk yea I have recently upgraded to "My Paint" Software as per @lovesoldier69 's advice go check out some of my new attempts at digi art now using multi-layering to my advantage!
That's cool
Thanks @usman11! Do you sketch too?
