Hey fellow Steemians and artists!
The Deadline for this season of the #designacharacter contest

It took me some time to work through all your wonderful entries and to choose my personal Top 3.
It really was great too see how much work and creativity you guys put in your posts!
Thank you!
This season of the Contest, the Style Challenge, has started on Thursday the 22nd of March 7pm UTC and did run for 2 weeks. Here is the link to the original Contest post.
The Styles to choose from were:
1. Comic artist Mike Mignola
Mignola is known for creating the "Mignola-verse" for Dark Horse Comics, a collection of titles including Hellboy, B.P.R.D. and various spinoffs (Lobster Johnson, Abe Sapien, Sir Edward Grey, Witchfinder, etc.).
He has also created similarly themed titles for Dark Horse including Baltimore, The Amazing Screw-On Head and Joe Golem, Occult Detective.

You can use color in your design but try to create an image that works well in black & white too.
2. Illustrator Tony DiTerlizzi
American fantasy artist, motion picture producer and children's book creator/author.
In the gaming industry, he is best known for his work in the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering and on the Planescape product line for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

And last but not least, a famous painter from the city where i was born...
3. Painter Gustav Klimt
Gustav Klimt (July 14, 1862 – February 6, 1918) was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is noted for his paintings, murals, sketches, and other objets d'art. Klimt's primary subject was the female body, and his works are marked by a frank eroticism. In addition to his figurative works, which include allegories and portraits, he painted landscapes. Among the artists of the Vienna Secession, Klimt was the most influenced by Japanese art and its methods.

Thank you for the honorable mention <3
my vote goes to @nazirullsafry , I am just really attracted to the character and what the story behind it might be
I vote for @nazirullsafry :D
My vote goes for @nazirullsafry.
ugh... I am torn...
@omdesign's final piece looks amazing... but for some reason I can't get over the fact that I feel like there was a photo involved in the process that we are not being shown - the leap from pencil sketch to finalized shading just seems a bit far fetched.
Ultimately I'll cast my vote for @niko3d - it feels like it's the most elaborate work here.
Hehe, yea no photo was involved or reference. Even this few shots of process were a stretch for me. When I start working, I don't like to be disturbed or interrupted.
heh... we'll... you know me... I'm that overly sceptical dude :P
The result still looks totally amazing! That's what counts anyways.
Cheers for the vote @fraenk :-) defo a tough choice. I will refrain from commenting on the others finalist's technique being a finalist my self :D

Good Luck for future too :D
i vote for @niko3d
Cheers for the vote :D by the way you still have the best steemit name around :D wanna swap?
Its so hard to choose only one. Choosed top3 looks like very good pices of art made by skilled artists, but my vote going to crazy frog made by @niko3d
Haha I should have named him Steve the crazy frog thing. Thanks for taking the time to vote.
I'm gonna give my vote to @niko3d. I just feel the closest to it...so it may not be a valid reason...but thats how it is sometimes. You go with what speaks to you more. And that character has a story to tell. I just know it lol.
Aww thanks for the vote, a story he could tell for sure :)
That's art right, you feel connections and emotions with art and sometimes that's all you need.
oh I think you just missed the deadline for the vote but looks like @w0olf has some life things to take care of so maybe he will count them all. Either way thank you for voting.
Oh. :( I wasnt paying atention....well....I hope it still counts. :)
