Italian designer is crowdfunding “Wayaland” - a community where residents live in floating pyramids and is hoping to open in 2022. The Waya modules were inspired by Mayan architecture and Japanese temples.
The Waya modules aim to offer an “offshore living experience and a sustainable community built around the human on the water.”
Each investor will become a citizen of Waya, receive a Waya passport and have the right to vote on where the first Waya modules will be located.
The creators say that the first Waya suit will cost 350,000 pounds (483,000 US dollars) to buy and approximately 1,000 pounds (1,379 US dollars) per night to rent.
