Hello, Steemians!
If any of you beautiful people are engaged and not wanting to break the bank, destination weddings are the way to go!
The typical U.S. wedding cost is $30,000. That's more than what my VW Jetta costs! So, my husband and I got married in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and it was the best decision we ever made.
We stayed at an all inclusive resort, Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, where the food was amazing as well as the drinks! It was also family friendly and had an adults only section. Our wedding package included flowers, cake, 4 course meal, music, open bar, upgrade to a penthouse suite, romantic dinner on the beach, massages, and fun!
What was also amazing was that our guests chose to go to the wedding and used it as a vacation. My guests could not stop raving about the location, resort, and the activities they did outside the resort. I highly recommend Sandos Caracol Eco Resort! Message me for any questions! Thanks for reading!
Good advice! My wife and i had two weddings as my family and I are from California and hers is from Mexico.
So we had the US wedding ($$$$$) and the Mexico Wedding ($) and i had much more fun in Mexico.
Two weddings?! How fun! Yeah, its definitely a huge difference, in your wallet as well as experience!
Thanks for the tip! We've been contemplating an elopement!
I highly recommend! Go somewhere and get married with ur close friends and family, not mom and dad's friends! It's such a great start to a new adventure!
All the dresses are so cute 😍 congratulations on your marriage
Thank you! The bridesmaids dresses are from azazie.com- best site for formal, affordable dresses!
