My daughter won't let me near her refrigerator. I throw everything out :)))
Mosquitoes
Yes, we need insects, but mosquitoes survive fine through cold weather:

The adult females of some species find holes where they wait for warmer weather, while others lay their eggs in freezing water and die. The eggs keep until the temperatures rise, and they can hatch."
Nature
I agree that nature will sort itself out--but not necessarily to the benefit of humans. Nature was here before us and will likely be here afterwards. In the scheme of things (naturally speaking) we probably do more harm than good. Nature will let out a sigh of relief when we are gone :))

I think sometimes I lose something in translation. If a piece is technical--straight prose and information--I usually get it right. If it is colloquial, I might misunderstand.

I think you understood my post. There is one question remaining in my head 😎 There must be two different kinds of mo(u)ld - because i like cheese with blue mo(u)ld and i can buy it. And thinking on the penicillin - it is medicine!
