I'm sure the governments won't leave the crypto issue as it is now. They are currently biting their elbows on the fact that they can not control this process. Governments are discouraged, but they will find a way to somehow influence this large-scale project. Such huge funds, billions pass by the state Treasury, there is no tax, there is no opportunity to know who, how many and where does the transaction. How did they see this question, how dare the people manage their own money? No, governments will not be calm and happy until they rein in crypto. And right now, until they've come up with a way, now many have the opportunity to somehow improve their lives. Especially in countries where the standard of living is very low. It's a chance for people.

Actually it's not really true that no taxes are paid for profits made with crypto currencies ... And yes, also bitcoin transactions are not really anonymous ...
Of course there are ways to hide transactions, especially when using more private coins like Monero ...
There is no tax in my country yet. Only the Commission during the transaction, but it does not receive the state. Therefore, in my country, the government is now actively drafting legislation to regulate crypto and tax activities related to crypto currency. I'm talking about Russia.
