The great thing about the dish is that you can really conjure up a tasty meal with just a few ingredients, which can also be quickly varied with different ingredients.

Today we use minced meat, hot peppers, garlic, red onions, crushed tomatoes, spices and, of course, large bell peppers.

Das tolle an dem Gericht ist, dass man wirklich mit wenigen Zutaten eine wohlschmeckendende Mahlzeit zaubern kann, welche sich auch schnell durch verschiedene Zutaten varieren lässt.

Heute verwenden wir Hackfleisch, scharfe Peperoni, Knoblauch, rote Zwiebeln, passierte Tomaten, Gewürze und natürlich große Paprikas.

In the first step, the vegetables should be cut and the peppers gutted.

Im ersten Schritt sollte das Gemüse geschnitten, und die Paprikas entkernt werden.

After the vegetables are ready, it's now time to sear the minced meat.

Nachdem das Gemüse vorbereitet ist, wird es nun Zeit das Hackfleisch anzubraten.

I like to mix the minced meat with some crushed tomatoes.

This has much less calories than ketchup and provides a great tomato taste. 👍

Das Hackfleisch vermische ich gerne mit etwas passierten Tomaten.

Das hat viel viel weniger Kalorien als Ketschup und liefert einen klasse Tomatengeschmack. 👍

Now comes the sliced vegetables in the pan.

It all adds up to a wonderful mix for your filling.


DE:
Nun kommt noch das geschnittene Gemüse in die Pfanne.

Alles zusammen ergibt eine wunderbaren Mix für eure Füllung.

In the last step, place the stuffed peppers in a casserole dish, add a little bit of passed tomatoes and wait until the peppers are lightly baked.

At 200 degrees it should take about 30 minutes until your dish is ready.


DE:
Im letzten Schritt legt ihr nun die gefüllten Paprikas in eine Auflaufform, fügt ein wenig passierte Tomaten hinzu und wartet bis die Paprikas leicht angebacken sind.

Bei 200 grad sollte es ca. 30minuten dauern bis euer Gericht fertig ist.

seriously!? That is strange, it is very, very common here and in the UK.

Perhpas it's just called yellow cheese or something like that?

I don’t know. I heard and saw it many times on steemit, from people from other countries. But never saw them in our grocery store.... strange 😂

Now you have me craving stuffed peppers! I haven't made any in a while. I don't do meat, so I generally do black beans or lentils for my stuffing. I like using quinoa mixed with my legumes for the stuffing, too. :)

My mom always used to make these and I loved them so much. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe, these look soooo good and now I think I have to try them for myself again sometime soon XD

This looks mighty tasty and may want to try it one of these days. I'm thinking of stuffing it with bacon and some ground sausage. Now we just need a cold drink to complete the meal, better yet some wine and bread. Love the photos.
