The most productive work is that which comes out of the hands of a happy man. Victor Pauchet
Greetings to the entire community of Steemit.
To get started
this time I bring you the second part of my publication about the event "Oktoberfest" Beer Festival celebrated in the Colonia Tovar, state Aragua- Venezuela. Event where I had the pleasure of working with the audiovisual production company NorteProduction to capture all the incidences of it.
The following image shows the NorteProduction team prepared and ready to leave the hotel "Selva Negra" (Black Forest) where we stayed to go to the hotel Freiburg where the event took place.
Our work team was at the Freiburg hotel one day before the start of the event to photograph certain areas where the event took place. The following image shows the preparation of the equipment (camera crane) to take pictures.
Hahaha I do not understand that gesture that I did when they took my picture, I was talking :).
The following image shows the entrance for the welcome of all the participants of this recognized event, besides, you will think why three people have to carry that crane, even if it does not look like it weighs a lot for the counterweight you need to be able to maneuver the crane.
From the previous photograph the crane was placed to give the angle to take this photograph, the arch of the entrance allusive to the event with the decoration of one of the invited participants of the event.
Brief history
As we know, it is an event of German origin where beer is the protagonist, only beers that meet certain requirements participate to be served and tasted by the participants of the event. That year there were several exponents of the expected beer of German origin as the Tovar beer, Coloniera, Benitz and the Venezuelan brand Polar as a guest at the event.
The distinguished public had the opportunity to taste each type of beer of the different exponents in their exhibitions as well as reference merchandise to each one of them.
To start the event, it begins with a previous ceremony, the mayor of Colonia Tovar opens the first beer barrel at 12 o'clock to the voice of "O zapft is!", which means "It is already open."
With the opening of the barrel, it began to serve the long-awaited beer of the different exponents of the same that they exhibited for the participants, among them were:
Brewery Benitz: this brewery "Benitz" was founded in Colonia Tovar with the intention of rescuing and renewing the traditions of its founding ancestors of Colonia Tovar, this brewery brews "Ale" beers.
Brewery Tovar: it is said of the first beer that was made in Venezuela was made in the Colonia Tovar maintaining its roots and maintaining the standards required by the "German Beer Purity Law".
Brewery Coloniera This craft brewery of the Colonia Tovar brews its beers Ale style and Lager, and not only that, but it makes handcrafted beers with excellent and different fruit flavors.
And finally, Brewery Polar is a brand produced in the country by Empresas Polar, it manufactures several types that include: Pilsen and Helles.
All these are excellent types of beers that were present to taste at the event at the disposal of the participating public.
During the event, several beer contests took place to entertain the participants, make them laugh and aspire to be the winner of one of them.
Admire, one of the beautiful local colonies demonstrating how to drink two beers in jug at the same time ¡Gesundheit! (Toast).
Another of the activities of the event, one of the most important eat! Divine food and sweets of German origin, there was a variety of food to taste as well as sweets, among the most iconic were the pork knee, the famous and diverse German sausages, sour cabbage (I am not a fan of this one) the sweet pretzels and salty (they are the best).
Look at that, one of the best dishes of the Colony, pork knee and of course you can not miss the different types of German sausages.
While all this was happening, the Norte Production team captured all these incidents, as well as, we conversed with various characters who explained many interesting things about their culture, we also had the opportunity to teach us different words in German ajajaj "danke" Thanks, guten tag (good morning).
And after we got out of the work, we started walking through the different areas to see and admire all the decoration allusive to the event, as well as certain incidents and the beautiful women colonists of course;). (The women who live in Colonia Tovar are told that way).
Already in our moments of leisure and stroll we began to take many photographs to immortalize these moments.
To end It was a very nice experience because we were surrounded by a culture totally different from ours, we knew and learned many things about them and we thank them for such an opportunity to the work team and to those who welcomed us with such excellent hospitality.
