The idea that mainstream media lost shows a gaping ignorance of how media works in this country. Mainstream media (of which both Fox and Twitter are a part) LOVES Donald Trump. He's the biggest money maker they've ever had, and that's why they always have him on. If they truly wanted him to lose, they wouldn't have given him so much free press.
If not for the media, and their adoration of Trump, you wouldn't even know who he is. The recent controversy with Tony Hinchcliffe illustrates this perfectly. If you're wondering who that is, look him up, and you'll see my point pretty quickly.
There is no such thing as bad press, and Trump COULDN'T have gotten elected without the media. He knows this, and so do they. They are not enemies.
I partially agree. In my last post (https://peakd.com/deutsch/@zuerich/lugenpresse-lying-media) I even wrote that media made Trump great/famous. But I question that the people in media know that, they rather make him famous unintentionally. This outrage gives them short-term audience, but longer-term they lose.
The reporters might not know, but I can guarantee you, with firsthand knowledge, that the board members do.
They've been milking cash from Trump reports for over 40 years now. That's long term in America.
