The two standouts, from an American perspective:
- That the "winner" of your election, has so seemingly little leverage over the party of the "loser." 😒 What could possibly go wrong? 🤷♂️
- The stark difference between the election results in what was up until recently known as East and West Germany. As you rightly say (how could this be reasonably disputed?), the lingering effects of the Communist rule over a part of Germany is undeniable.
What do you think the view of this outcome will be in Ukraine? Given the current position of America (Zelensky is reportedly arriving here tomorrow ...) that providing for the future security of its citizens is going to be borne by Europe, much more than by America?
