Heute ist mein #Raspiblitz traurig, aus zwei Gründen:
a) /dev/sda1 458G 448G 5.1G 99% /mnt/hdd
und b)

Eine Zeit, in der keine neuen Blöcke rein kommen, ist doch perfekt für das eh geplante Upgrade der SSD auf 1TB, um eine lokale Version von mempool.space samt Explorer und Index hosten zu können.
Ich mache eine Wette: was ist zuerst fertig? Das rsync von alt auf neu, oder der überübernächste Block? Ich beginne die Aktion zu Blockzeit 697863.
Um die Chancen für den rsync zu erhöhen, nutze ich einen schnellen modernen Linux PC statt dem Raspi zum kopieren, an den ich die 500er und die 1TB SSD anschließe.
Wichtig für die neue disk ist nur, dass die Partition das Filesystem Label "BLOCKCHAIN" hat. Das erledigt der Befehl auf der als sdf erkannten neuen SSD nach anlegen einer Partition sdf1 mit fdisk.
mkfs.ext4 -L BLOCKCHAIN /dev/sdf1
Beide eingehängt
/dev/sde1 458G 448G 5.1G 99% /opt/blockchains/raspiblitz/500
/dev/sdf1 916G 77M 870G 1% /opt/blockchains/raspiblitz/1T
und der Spass kann (mit 150-200MB/s) beginnen
/opt/blockchains/raspiblitz# time rsync -avh --progress 500/ 1T/
Bitcoin hat das race gewonnen und ist bei Block 697868 angekommen.
