These email files can be downloaded directly from the link provided by Google to your laptop or computer, from where you can connect your phone to a laptop and install the new Android Developer Preview in your phone.

OS installs
Now you have to transfer the downloaded image file through the firmware via your phone to your phone.
Before installation of an Android 'P' factory image file, you must unlock the bootloader in the phone.
For this, hold down your phone's power button and the volume down button, your phone's bootload menu will be open.
Connect your phone to a computer or laptop. With connect, it will ask for some access and you have to OK. After this, give the ./adb devices commands.
Now run the ./adb reboot bootloader given in the bootloader menu.
A list will appear in your phone, in which you have to keep the bootloader unlock in lock state device.
After the bootloader is unlocked, go to the Android P's factory email page and uncompress it.
Open ./fastboot devices and click on ./fastboot flash bootloader [bootloader file] .img.
A command prompt or a dialog box will appear on your phone's screen, after which you have to reboot your phone by clicking the ./fastboot reboot-bootloader.

After reboot, please update the phone's radio by clicking on ./fastboot flash radio [radio file] .img.
After that, click ./fastboot reboot-bootloader, you will have a system image in the phone.

After you install the Android 'P' developer version, your phone will become a brand new device and all of the data already in the phone will be erased. Therefore data backup is necessary.
