Today's Scripture
So is he who sleeps with another man’s wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished. (Proverbs 6:29)

Thoughts for Today
The book of Proverbs warns us clearly about adultery and how damaging it could be in our lives. There is a consequence of the things we do in front of others and even in private. We can hide it from the whole world but God sees our every deed even it is done in secret and God rewards us for every deed whether done in secret or in public. Some people could look so good on the outside but yet deep inside of them, they are full of evil within them. They live their lives as if they do not know God.

So many marriages and young men's lives are being destroyed due to Pornography. Pornography may look harmless but it is very damaging to the minds of people. It creates an expectation of lust towards one's partner. God's love is pure and holy and there is no form of lustfulness in it.

Do not do something just because your friend is doing it but rather compare it against God's word and what it says. Be careful about what we sow in private, we will eventually reap what we sow in private. Whoever sows in the flesh, we will reap destruction.

Jesus even talks about adultery in our hearts.

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Proverbs 6:29

Men look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. God knows that all the issues in life spring out from the issues in our hearts.

Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Align our hearts to your will. May our heart reflect on Your righteousness and truth. We desire to be more like you, Pure and Holy. Help us to see of any sin that is dwelling deep within our hearts so that we may remove it. We want to be pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. Thank you for always loving us in all our weaknesses. We praise you and love you. We ask this in Your Precious Name, Jesus. Amen!
