2nd Hive Train Tracks. {3D Models}

#Helloworld. For those of you that don't know... I'm working on my basic vectoring skills by creating a city called: "2nd Hive."

I made a basic 3D model of a front train car today and pasted it. I placed the model next to some park benches so I can compare sizes. You can clearly see that the train model is too small.

Imagine someone sitting on one of the benches. Then picture them trying to go inside this train ... It's not even big enough . It's smaller than a car. The train needs to be much bigger to be considered proportionally accurate. Let's re-size the train car.

Here is the re-sized train car. You could actually imagine someone getting up from the benches and stepping into the train model.

I also shortened the train car which changed the shape of the model slightly. I think the new shape looks more accurate.

I made a basic train tracks model which also needs resizing. The rails need to be wider than the train.

Once I re-sized the train tracks then I copied the tracks and pasted them over and over. Looks like it's time to expand the map again.

I made a basic 3D shape for the main train cars.

The two train car models looks great together!
