hive SBI code is open source, but it would take some work to run off Hive Engine staked balances instead of subscription unit count.

You will eventually, but for now it's exclusive to the HIVE pool. The daily amount mined by @discohedge will be split up to the pools and sent out with DHEDGE.

What are the vote rounds? I tried to read the different posts, but still don't get it.
For example: I use the !DHEDGE command on a post and I have 400 dhedge, do I need DVS aswell to get an upvote?
Or is DVS only for automatic curation of my posts when nobody is using !DHEDGE?

Vote rounds are about to be a thing of the past. They currently require staked DVS. Soon staked DVS will build up vote mana like HSBI and get upvotes from @dhgedge.
The DHEDGE command calls in token curation for you or others, calling in token curation accounts and upvoting based on your DHEDGE balance (more DHEDGE, higher upvote).

Hey task, just to let you know: the "queue" page on the website isn't working. It isn't showing up the posts and the total DVS.
The queue is a thing of the past, and needs to be replaced with a DVS section. DVS doesn't require a queue. Every couple and a bit hours a full vote is split up among all staked DVS and stored for later use. When a user posts now, 40% of their stored balance is used for an upvote.
I gotta make a post about it, it's kinda why im on here today.
Oh, so it's now working similarly to the HSBI? A user's balance keep adding up forever until they post and, then, they receive a proportional vote (eg 40% of the balance)? That's nice!
I really like the whole idea behind HSBI, but I always found that the "forever sunk cost that you won't ever recover" just too harsh.

Not really a one post tells all kind of thing, I really gotta do that.
I'll start with your delegation to @dhedge. It gives you 21% APY paid daily in DVS tokens, as well as a share of DHEDGE based on the hive pools balance. The math is done using H-E markets ask price of DVS.
Your DVS, once staked starts building up an upvote balance in the background, and a portion of that balance is applied to your next post, so long as your balance is enough to give out an upvote.
Your DHEDGE is a little more complicated. At 10 or more DHEDGE, you start receiving drips, these are dividends paid out in hive, HBD, and various H-E tokens. At 100 or more DHEDGE, you unlock thread votes and the !DHEDGE comment command. Thread votes are upvotes on your main leo threads. The !DHEDGE command calls in our token curation accounts to upvote the main post you used the command on. The power of this curation call increases with your DHEDGE balance, as well as the limit on the amount of times called in per day.
