You are an inspiration to me Pie man. I was having a tricky morning. Reading your posts always give me the kick in the bum I need to get up and quit the pity party.
It must be so hard to balance everything around dialysis, the sodium / potassium exchange alone would have me obsessed around intake. You.
As for gabapentin, I'm glad you found something that helps. I recently tried anticonvulsants (again) for nerve pain, I became more sedated each day, until I couldn't function. Which was a shame, it was definitely effective on pain. Coffee!... I can have multiple a day (sometimes before bed for headache).
Hi @girlbeforemirror I couldn't do much in my prodigal and uninteresting life but this blogging thing I was doing for more than two years now. I am happy that I am also able to rid some of my body pain but with some compromise of big expenses and the fact tat I have to endure the appetiteloss that my Parathyroid medicine is giving me. I do not know why I am able to endure it but I am enduring it nonetheless. I am also glad that I am able to earn bit from this social blogging work too.
I hope that you are fairing well in your own life. Gabapentin helps me feel relaxed, it is not a classified a dangerous drug though but one must not abruptly take it off cold turkey. But I am just taking 200mg twice a week only, it is just enough for me body to feel better with regards to my sleep an relaxation.
My Caffeine intake is just for my blood pressure to stabilize at dialysis because of my problem of crashing blood pressure.
Best regards to you :D
Keep on fighting.
