I don't believe in the value of diamonds. Diamonds are just compressed carbon and carbon is a pretty abundant element on earth. Gold, Silver and Platinum on the other hand are rare elements.
As I understand, the DeBeers family has uncovered a number of diamonds...yet people are led to believe that diamonds are exceedingly rare.
