I got up very early, it was 4:30 in the morning, my children were asleep, I sat in the living room to take advantage of the internet and I started to check the news on hive.
At 5:00 my oldest son got up and went to work on the platform. On the Island they are rationing electricity in some sectors due to a breakdown that occurred on the mainland and that has caused the failure of the internet. Thank God at home we have not been affected by power cuts. I felt like it was raining but it was only temporary. I went up to the second floor of my house to observe the environment, apparently the day was going to be radiant.
It was 7:30 a.m. when I got ready to prepare breakfast, I realized that I did not have enough flour to make the arepitas, I resolved with what little there was for my children to eat, but I still had to go to the supermarket to do some shopping, for now I am without a car, since they are doing some touches of tinkering. So my greatest love suggested me to go out by bike, the supermarket is close by. My youngest son stayed with his grandmother and we went out.
Arriving from the supermarket with my best company, (my son) I took fish out of the fridge for our lunch. I started washing, I wanted to have a free Sunday. While the clothes were washed, I prepared the fish, which by the way were taken the day before by my son, who went fishing with his father and brought back some small fish. I made potato, egg, and carrot salad. I fried the fish and we had a delicious lunch.
