I have tried all kinds of diets for about 12 years, from slow carb to keto, atkins, paleo and intermitent fasting. The only reason it has been for 12 years is because at a younger age I didnt have to worry about what I had for breakfast, lunch nor dinner. I really didnt care about the macros. It didnt matter how much beer I drank. My metabolism was at an all time high. Now at the age of 41, if I smell some food I put on some pounds. At the end of the day, I have learned that it all comes down to calories in vs calories out, no matter what type of diet you do. Although specific ones are for mwdical reasons. What tyoes of diets have you done that were very successful?
