This is a story of loosing 8 kg's in a healthy way in 3 months by having patience and maitain the diet chart and rules given by nutritionist. I am telling you my story from the first to better understand.
I am stay at home housewife, with 3 kids Alhamdulillah. Its been running 11 years of my married life, in between I have gone through 3 c-sectoins/ceasors at 2/3 years of gap for my 3 kids. During my last baby it was difficult pregnancy, after 2 years I gone through depression anxiety disorder, my mental health detoriated like anything with that backpain was and is always there for me newly added knee pain for my tremendous weight gain.
Excessive weight gain mainly because of the anti depressants I've to take for my illness it should be noted that I losen many pounds and become skinny like anything while I was sick and in depression I cant eat, no eager for food, nothing seems good, confusing mind always with increased heartbeat and meaningless worries, no sleep and only having water because in that sickness throat become dry and thrust for drinking water increase. That was terrific days of my life. May Allah keep all of us healthy. We actually can't measure the blessing of being healthy as long we didn't face any illness.
After 1 year of taking antidepressions I when was feeling quite good determined to quit taking medicines. First I face many health related issues due to stopping taking medicines. Gradually it cures, leaving me & giving me lots of overweights.
I was feeling real pain on my knees because of excessive weight. Obviously obessity has more bad effects on our body. But it was for me then crying need to stop my weight gaining which was increasing dramatically day by day. I was scared 4 months ago when I checked my weight, it stimulates me that much that I was then make it determined that I have to loose my extra weight.
I went for physiotherapy for treating knee pain and backpain. But doctors recommended that I have to cut the extra weights. Then I went to nutrition specialist, she guide me with a healthy diet chart suitable for me after doing necessary diagnosis. Which includes totally cutting of oil and sugar.
Waking up drinking 3 spoons apple cider vinegar mix with 1 glass warm water at empty stomach & then after half an hour eating boiled vegetables with brown floor bread/ruti two small sizes like size of tea cup plates in breakfast or having 1 bigspoon oatmeal with 1 small size banana & raisins to add taste and 2 boiled egg whites. Having 3/4 cups of green tea, lemon tea in a day. Having 10 almonds and 1 green apple after 1/2 hours of breakfast. Then before lunch having 2 spoon espgul husk with a glass of water just stir in water and immediately drink. The main thing is to eat small amount every 1/2 hours gap instead of 1 big shot this helps loosing weight. This is also sunnah to eat leaving 1/3 part of stomach empty. At lunch, having 1 cup boiled rice with 1 cup boiled vegetables with dal or boiled grains and raw salad ex. raw papaya, carrot, cucumber, latus etc or having two small size brown floor ruti/bread with boiled veg and small pieces of chicken/ meat/ fish. After that in evening having salads / boiled veg soup/ muri/ zero calary biscuits as evening snacks. At dinner same as lunch. After if hungry espgul husk. Having green tea / lemon tea helps burning calorie fast. Taking 2/3 servings of fruits. Walking 20 min + 20 min + 20 min daily.
I started doing, for first 1/2 week felt very sick with no sugar diet. Where I was habituated to have 2/3 cup milk tea with sugar at breakfast. Gradually with strong determination I become habituated with the diet plan. Cutting of 1 cup tea/ juice with sugar helps much to loose weight. Diet plan also removes my constipation and gastric problems with high fiber vegtables and salads specially eating apple cider vinegar at empty stomach and having oatmeal at breakfast. I used to take gastric relief pills but after following the diet I didnt need them. As my bowel movement become healthier it automatically gives relief.
It feels pain at first I started walking, but gradually habituated. Occasionaly I do take forbidden foods I will not deny.
At first 2 weeks loosen 4 kg's. And in 3 months it reaches 8 kgs. In between I started feeling more energetic my knee pain releifs much. When I loosen 8 kgs now I can feel what is the benefit to remain in our ideal weight.
Though I sometimes miss my walk. But I hold it, not leaved. Lot more to loose. Lot more to go but doing it consistently.
I have seen many doing crush diets to loose weight in short time, some are doing water diet, no carb diet etc without considering how much healthy the way is. But it damages our health and not a healthy way.First of all we have to consult nutritionist and after diagnosis we will be given diet chart according to our health condition. By eating properly we can be at our ideal weight. So being aware and intelligent steps helps more rather than being desparate. In the long run slow and steady wins.
At the end I would say, we all should consult a nutritionist and eat accordingly in a proper way,what our body needs. Always check our body weight to remain aware and other necessary health check ups should be done in proper time.
