With the recent pump and dump action happening with Verge (thanks to Mr. McAfee on twitter), Digibytes main competitor, it'll be interesting to watch how the market reacts once they find this diamond in the rough.
Sitting at $0.075547 per coin as I type this, DGB has one of the highest growth potentials for 2018 or perhaps the next few months. One of the reasons it's so cheap is because it is not an ICO, as described on their website:
"DigiByte has never been funded through an ICO, presale or token sale, nor is there a private company controlling the DigiByte Blockchain in line with our vision for a decentralized digital future."
DGB doesn't have the current marketing power as other centralized currencies have at the moment which keeps it in the shadows (for now). I'm writing my first Steemit post on them because I believe in the coin and am a long term holder.
It is also one of the most profitable coins to mine, something else to keep in mind.
Check out this radical change in only a month, taking into account the crypto-hype it's still an impressive bounce.
Thank you so much for reading my first post and I'm glad to be apart of this new and amazing community!
