This is a photo I took a few years ago of a cardinal in the snow.
And another old photo of a first snowfall and the two evergreens beside my neighbors driveway. Those two trees have certainly grown since I took this picture!

Wonderful stuff @melinda010100 the cardinal should be your Christmas card this year. I like the small evergreens too. like two kids playing out in a storm on the edge of the forest

Windows up these last few days here. Lovily weather at night in 60s and days high 70s, just my kind of cool. AC may have to go on Wednesday if nurse comes to work. She was sick today.

How utterly beautiful @melinda010100 Both your entries have so much appeal. The beautiful cardinal sitting on a branch which is one of many that are weighed down with chunks of white chunks of snow and the image with the evergreen trees in front of those slender trees behind them would look awesome framed. Sorry about taking so long replying. I've not been well but am on the mend. This is going to be another difficult contest to judge. Thanks again for your entries and support for this contest.
