Beef Roast
On the menu tonight, was beef roast with vegetables, yum. The other half sent me a text earlier in the day saying that she was going to make a slow cooked roast in case I got home late (I did last night) I was expecting to be home late tonight too. However, I had had enough after 11 hours at work at jumped in the car a little earlier than initially thought.
I could smell the dinner cooking when I got home, smelled good, after carving up the meat and serving on a plate with steamed vegetables this is what the meal looked like.
Looked good, there was a minor issue with the meat, it could have cooked a little longer. It wasn't quite fall apart, no big deal, I still liked it. It had a nice pepper flavouring to it.
We have however decided to see if we can soften up the remaining meat a little more by cooking it in the oven for another few hours on low heat. It is in the roasting pan with some lemon juice and stock, so we shall see how it turns out, fingers crossed.

Maybe, some cuts don't do well from over cooking, not sure which cut this was as I didn't cook it.
